San Luis Obispo, CA -- Mission Plaza

Favorite Library Memory

Favorite Library Memories -- Do you have a favorite memory of the Library? Adults and children are invited to participate in a non-competitive writing challenge. Selected essays will be read at the Festival.

"The Library was one of the first places that my parents allowed me to go to on my own. To this very day I can walk into a Library practically anywhere and have a sense of feeling right at home," says Festival Chairperson and Library Foundation President Rick London. "Public Libraries have gone through a lot changes since I was a kid. As our Public Libraries keep up with the times they continue to build, nourish and support our communities by providing rich environments for learning and the appreciation of knowledge. Please join us by sharing a special Library moment that you recall, no matter how old you might be."
